I was listening to one of my audiobooks when one of the esoteric characters explained that we all have the capacity for evil and are heroic when we deny those tendencies and choose to do good instead.
It was a new way of both classifying choices and broadening the definition of heroism. I’m still pondering this one and will most likely write on it more later…
