I don't know about the wife getting the parenting thing! Most days I shake my head and pray God's protection (from me and all I lack!) to surround them. This particular situation at school was a neat opportunity to see how Gunnar trusts us to advocate for him. But, as soon as I bask his trust, I feel a great responsibility that scares me. I'm all to aware that I will fail them and already have many times. But, moments like these keep me coming back for more; They keep me fighting the fight every day. I do feel this was a Victory in one small part of the war, and these super tender moments make me melt over and over again. Yay for the Manatt Team!
